Manicura francesa Chanel Primavera 2012 versión low cost

Hola chicas!! Hi girls!!

I hope you don't mind, but since now on, I'll try to make this blog bilingual. I've seen that there are readers from some other countries and besides, this is an excuse to practise english.

Today, I'm writing my first post about nails.
It turns out that I've been seeing for two months a photograph of a french manicure done with the new nail polish from Chanel for next spring collection. They used a pink pastel for most of the nail, and just the border was in peach. I liked the effect they produced and decided to test with the nail polish I already owned. In fact, in case of Chanel manicure, both colours were so gentle that when they are put together, they're quite equal and you loose the power of the orange one.

I decided that instead of going on purchasing polishes and buying another orange more pastel, I could make use the colours I already have to imitate this duo. The idea was to create something with more contrast with the orange, and while my pink colour was plain, my orange polish is slightly methalic and I get a stronger effect.
The colours I used were both from Kiko, the pink is number 235 and the orange is 288.

The truth is that at natural, you have to pay attention to see that I'm wearing double colour but it is quite cute. I think I will wear it more this spring.

Y vosotras, ¿os gustan las uñas bicolor? What about you? Do you like two coloured nails?

Besos!
